With laser tattoo removal its nice to have options.”

TATTOO REMOVAL
Fotona's Starwalker Q-Switched laser technology generates high-energy nanosecond pulses that are efficient at removing many types of tattoos. By using larger spot sizes at very high energy, deeper-lying pigmented structures can be reached and removed, and laser treatment efficacy and efficiency in a single session are significantly enhanced.
Using Photo-Acoustic technology, the laser penetrates the pigment causing a vibration to break apart the ink. "Think Rocks to Pebbles". Then using patented technology to safely deliver a second wave of vibration, we are able to further break the ink down. "Pebbles to Sand". This process allows the ink particles to be absorbed by our lymphatic system and excreted from our body.
Most tattoo removal procedures take minimal time, but several treatments are typically needed to completely remove a tattoo. 6-8 week intervals between sessions are required to allow pigment residue to be cleared by the body.
Fotonas patented technology relies on groundbreaking solutions such as OPTOflex® and Vacuum Cell Technologies to produce an almost perfectly homogeneous beam profile, resulting in safer and more effective treatments for your tattoo removal.
Is it painf1ul?
Discomfort can vary depending on factors such as the individual's pain tolerance and the location of the tattoo. Many people describe the sensation as similar to a rubber band snapping your skin. To minimize discomfort, topical anesthesia will be applied before the procedure, and cooling techniques like chilled air is used.
How many sessions are typically required?
The number of sessions required for complete tattoo removal depends on various factors, including the size, color, as well as the individual's skin type. Typically it ranges from 3-6 treatments but can even require up to 10+ sessions.
Are there any risks or side effects?
Tattoo removal is generally considered safe, but there are potential risks and side effects to be aware of. These can include temporary skin discoloration (hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation), scarring, blistering, infection, or changes in skin texture. It's crucial to have the procedure performed by a trained and experienced professional to minimize these risks and follow proper aftercare instructions.
What color ink is the easiest to remove?
Dark colors like black or blue tend to absorb more laser energy and are usually easier to remove compared to lighter colors like yellow or green. Aqua Blues and Purples tend to be the toughest to remove while White has almost zero chance of being removed as it is "pigment-less"
